I'm Writing This Blog But I Should Be....

I'm writing this blog but I should be sleeping. I just worked a nine hour shift at Mcdonalds and at 2am I am still up for some odd reason. I must be crazy or delusional or something...Hopefully I don't have to worry about closing for much longer and I will only be working there weekends so I can work at Picture Me :). I would love to work there so I can get experience in taking pictures for people. Until then I work long hours at Mcdonalds trying to pay bills. All I know is I have to keep pushing on and not let my wants get in the way of what I need to do.

 I'm writing this blog but I should be SLEEPING!

In January I was...

I was just moving back to my dorm room after Christmas vacation and there was talk of snow....a lot of it. Knowing South Carolina I didn't believe it but, one night we were all sitting int the lobby of our dorm when we start seeing this stuff falling from the sky that looks like snow. This one girl, Abby ran outside and came back in real quick and said that it was indeed snow! She went up to her room and got warmer clothes and ran back outside next thing we know it she slips and falls and hits her head on the concrete ground....she had a small concussion. The next day we woke up and there laid the most snow South Carolina has seen in years! Everyone got dressed all warm and headed down to the soccer field because, there was a huge hill that they could sled down. As I am walking down of course I have to be the girl who falls every two seconds. This continued for about a week. A week of being stranded at school because cars were snowed in and roads were too horrible. I was starting to go crazy. Even after it stopped snowing my car was trapped a week longer...poor thing.
In January I was trapped at my school for a whole week.

Life Takes Some Funny Twists and Turns...

Just when you think you have life figured out something unexpected happens.
  
  *ring ring. ring ring.* "I'm sorry we are going to have to lay you off"
  --2months later still no work and bills are piling up...
  "We would like to offer you a job here"
  --3months later.."I'm sorry we are just having some trouble paying everyone we are going to have to let you go"
  -Doctor:I'm sorry to have to tell you this but you have cancer. -You:(in awe of what you just heard)
 *you sit with your family every night and pray you beat this cancer*
  --A year later...-Doctor:Good news we have gotten rid of the cancer! -You:(crying and celebrating)
 "We would like to offer you a job here"
 --3 years later...You: Thank you God for carrying me through my hard times to get me to the blessing of this job!

 Yea life can take you on some twists and turns but, it doesn't matter what happens on that road its how you get there and what you do with the things that you have been dealt.
